Preserve and Honor

Richard "Ricky" Gilleland III, is a young man who has been preserving the records of the Arlington Cemetery. I stumbled across a video interview Ricky had with CNN regarding his desire to document all those who have been laid to rest in the Arlington Cemetery. Interestingly, he mentioned that the information about these people who sacrificed so much for their country, has been kept on indexed cards. Ricky has been going to the cemetery with his parents and photographing the headstones of every headstone. At this time, I do not believe that the documentation is completed. Ricky has designed the website, which is searchable and the pictures are clear and easily read. Each of the headstones, have a link that will take the reader to another website where, they can learn more about the individual buried. What an amazing job this one young man has accomplished. I am totally impressed by him.

Thank you for another essential article. Where else could anyone get that kind of information in such a complete way of writing? I have a presentation incoming week, and I am on the lookout for such information.
